- Develop, implement, and maintain Control Plans aligned with PFMEA, Process Flow, and quality documentation
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, automotive standards, and quality management systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001)
- Analyze and resolve quality issues using methodologies such as 8D, PDCA, A3, Pareto, Ishikawa, FTA, and statistical analysis
- Review and approve inspection instructions and ensure measurement system compliance (MSA)
- Lead PPAP creation, validation, and requalification activities
- Define acceptance/rejection criteria and validate product and process changes
- Manage non-conforming product, including containment, disposition, and escalation
- Support customer complaints and coordinate corrective actions with cross-functional teams
- Participate in internal, external, and customer audits and ensure closure of findings
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve process performance
- Support engineering changes and product launches
- Monitor key quality metrics (scrap, defects, complaints, Safe Launch, etc.) and provide reporting
- Ensure calibration and control of measurement and inspection equipment
- Stop production when necessary to prevent quality or safety risks
- Support supplier quality and communicate issues with SQE teams
- Participate in MRB meetings and manage disposition of materials
- Develop and deliver training for operators, technicians, and quality personnel
- Support layered process audits, 6S audits, and risk assessments on production processes
- Identify process risks, escalate issues, and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions
- Lead and support quality team development, including technicians and inspectors
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Automotive, or related field)
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar quality role (automotive preferred)
- Strong knowledge of quality tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plans
- Understanding of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards
- Experience with GD&T and interpretation of technical drawings
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills
- Ability to identify and manage non-conforming products
- Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
- Conversational English preferred
- Experience in automotive manufacturing environments
- Experience leading audits (internal, customer, or system audits)
- Experience with continuous improvement projects (scrap reduction, Cpk improvement, etc.)
- Experience training and developing production or quality teams
- Strong background in statistical analysis and process capability
