Summary
Perform complex troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs on filling and packaging equipment for glass, PET, and aluminum bottled beverages, including fabrication of parts as needed. Plan and execute installations and calibrations of PLCs, servomotors, robotic assemblies, HMIs, and automation systems, while designing equipment recipes and control configurations. Train technicians in troubleshooting, sensor calibration, robotics adjustments, and line control programming to ensure operational reliability. Maintain safety compliance, update maintenance records in the management system, and promote a clean, GMP- and HACCP-compliant work environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex troubleshooting of filling and packaging equipment, complete preventive maintenance tasks, and performing repairs and replacement of faulty components.
- Utilize knowledge and experience to support production operations with line changeovers, troubleshooting complex issues with equipment failures on machinery utilized in the production and packaging of glass/PET/aluminum bottled beverages and the facilities supporting the production processes.
- Complete diagnostics, testing, and complex troubleshooting mechanical and electrical failures; provide solutions for repair and replacement including fabricating parts for immediate repair.
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks including but not limited to lubrication, filter replacements, replacing worn out parts and monitoring equipment for signs of wear, vibration, or temperature changes. Plan and complete installations of PLCs, Servomotors, robotic assemblies, HMIs, and automation.
- Complete design of recipes for filling and packaging equipment, calibrate and configure instruments and control systems.
- Utilize the maintenance management system enter completed work orders including parts and materials used to ensure inventories are updated.
- Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
- Complete on the job training to technicians ensuring that they can complete the moderate troubleshooting of faulty equipment, calibration of sensors, adjustment of robotics and understand line control programing.
- Follow company procedures for safety and ensure state and federal occupational safety regulations are followed (lock out tag out, PPE, machine guarding, hot work, etc).
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by performing housekeeping complying with GMPs SQF HAACP, LOTO and general workplace safety standards.
- Must maintain accurate documentation that is legible, and organized
- Must follow good manufacturing practices
- Must ensure food safety and quality are maintained by following regulations and company guidelines
- Participate in ongoing training related to job duties, safety, equipment operation, and product handling.

Pay: Up to $2,249,000.00 per year
