Your Mission
Coordinate and optimize our end-to-end International Procurement process, ensuring the effective sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and selection of suppliers—primarily factories in China—according to the specific requirements of each project.
You will serve as a key link between Project Management, Logistics, Customs, Administration, and Management, helping ensure that every operation moves efficiently from product sourcing to international shipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and develop the International Procurement team.
- Analyze project requirements and assess supplier and project feasibility.
- Conduct sourcing and evaluation of international factories and suppliers.
- Lead negotiations regarding pricing, payment terms, product quality, and production lead times.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers, primarily in China.
- Follow up on production, inspections, documentation, and shipments.
- Participate in container loading planning and cargo consolidation strategies.
- Identify cost-saving and process optimization opportunities.
- Resolve issues related to suppliers, production, shipments, or commercial documentation.
- Implement procurement controls, reports, and performance indicators.
- Coordinate closely with Project Management, Logistics, Customs, Administration, and Management teams.
What Are We Looking For?
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Residence in León, Guanajuato is required
Experience:
- At least 4 years of experience in International Procurement, Imports, Purchasing, or Sourcing.
- 1–2 years of experience in a coordination, supervisory, or team leadership role.
Technical Knowledge:
- International sourcing and supplier negotiation, preferably within Asian markets.
- Supplier evaluation and development.
- Quality control and factory inspection processes.
- INCOTERMS and international trade documentation.
- International logistics and cost structures.
- Supplier sourcing platforms such as Alibaba, Made-in-China, or similar platforms.
- Intermediate to advanced English.
- Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
