We are seeking a Senior Java Solution Architect (AWS & Gen AI) to lead a platform modernization effort across Java, AWS, and enterprise Generative AI use cases. You will assess the current codebase and architecture, define scalable cloud-native designs, and guide teams through upgrades, integrations, and report modernization—apply now.
Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end Java upgrade program to version 21

Decouple memory management from static servers by integrating Redis to support autoscaling

Design and implement a dynamic load balancer to handle fluctuating workloads
-
Modernize and revamp legacy reports built on Pentaho
-
Rebuild integrations with third-party products such as OTP and Workday
-
Analyze the existing codebase to understand architectural and design patterns and propose new solution designs

Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain architectural alignment and follow industry best practices

Apply Generative AI capabilities to enhance system functionality and developer productivity

Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams throughout the modernization journey
Requirements

Extensive track record with 10+ years of professional experience in software development and solution architecture

Deep expertise in Java, including currency with modern releases and proven upgrade approaches (Java 21)

Strong command of AWS cloud services and cloud-native architecture patterns

Demonstrated experience with Redis and autoscaling implementations

Proven ability to design and roll out dynamic load balancing solutions

Working knowledge of Generative AI technologies and how to apply them in enterprise settings

Familiarity with Pentaho and modern approaches to report modernization

Solid understanding of integration patterns with third-party platforms such as OTP and Workday

Ability to navigate complex codebases, evaluate architecture and design patterns, and propose innovative solution designs

Balanced mix of hands-on technical depth and end-to-end architectural vision
-
Fluency in English at B2+/C1 (Upper-Intermediate/Advanced) level for effective communication
