Our company is looking for a Business Developer (Hunter) to drive B2B growth in the automotive and electronics industries. This role is highly proactive, focused on prospecting and opening new accounts in OEMs and Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers in Mexico.
Main responsibilities:
- Proactively hunt new B2B customers in the automotive and electronics sectors, identifying and qualifying prospects aligned with CELO’s strategy.
- Generate and maintain a robust pipeline of new opportunities through visits, cold calls, digital prospecting, networking, fairs, and industry events.
- Open new accounts and lead the full sales cycle: first contact, needs analysis, technical coordination, proposal, negotiation, and closing.
- Map decision-makers and influencers at target accounts (engineering, purchasing, quality, production) and build strong business relationships.
- Detect new projects and applications in target OEMs and Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers, proposing CELO fastening solutions with clear technical and commercial value.
- Coordinate with engineering, technical service, and supply chain to ensure feasibility and competitiveness of offers to new customers.
- Prepare quotations and commercial proposals focused on new business acquisition, ensuring profitability and compliance with internal policies.
- Monitor competitors’ moves in target accounts, proposing actions to win new projects and displace competing solutions.
- Use CRM to register all prospecting activities, leads, and opportunities, keeping forecasts and reports updated for the Country Sales Manager.
Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, International Trade or similar.
- 3+ years in B2B new business development / field sales (hunter), ideally in industrial/metal-mechanic, automotive or electronics.
- Proven track record opening new accounts in industrial environments.
- Intermediate–advanced English and availability to travel.
