Maintenance CoordinatorPosition Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for coordinating residential maintenance service calls from start to finish, ensuring timely scheduling, effective communication, and high-quality service.
The ideal candidate has experience coordinating maintenance service calls, excels at managing multiple work orders simultaneously, and is committed to providing outstanding customer service.
Starting Pay: MXN $210 per hour, based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and dispatch maintenance service calls to vendors and field technicians.
- Schedule appointments with tenants, homeowners, and property managers.
- Review incoming maintenance requests and determine the appropriate scope of work.
- Obtain and review vendor estimates when required.
- Monitor work orders from dispatch through completion.
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and technicians regarding scheduling, work progress, and repair updates.
- Review photos, invoices, and completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Ensure vendors complete work on time and in accordance with company expectations.
- Prioritize emergency and high-priority maintenance requests.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work orders, estimates, invoices, and customer communications.
- Assist with vendor onboarding and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Identify opportunities to improve scheduling efficiency and reduce service costs.
- Provide exceptional customer service while resolving maintenance-related issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance coordination.
- Strong understanding of residential maintenance, including:
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- HVAC
- Carpentry
- Painting
- Flooring
- Appliance repairs
- General maintenance
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage a high volume of service calls in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and work order management software.
- Experience with maintenance dispatching software is preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
