Description
This position involves performing complex analysis, research, and trend monitoring related to financial and business matters. It is responsible for coordinating intercompany transactions among Mexican entities, as well as with entities in the U.S. and Canada, and for generating reports on these transactions.
The role also includes preparing bank reconciliations, performing cash clearing activities, reviewing the proper posting of banking transactions in SAP S/4, and validating and uploading the daily exchange rates used by the company. Additionally the position supports operational departaments by reviewing expenses, including the analysis of accruals and monthly expenses.
Accountabilities
- Supervises intercompany transaction including, transaction entries, payment and collection process.
- Prepares bank reconciliations and validates the proper accounting of bank transactions.
- Validates the correct upload of the exchange rates used by the company.
- Supports month-end close activities by reporting operating expenses and providing related analysis and explanations.
- Proficient in SAP (S4, ECC), Fiori, BPC, Banking plataforms, Microsoft office tools.
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with the internal controls assigned to the position.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in a job related major field of study
- 5-6 years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Fluent English, both spoken and written.
- SAP S/4HANNA experience
- Experience using Microsoft Office, databases, pivot tables, macros, etc.
Preferred
- Post-secondary education in Accounting or Business; 5 to 8 years accounting experience and 2 to 3 years supervisory experience.
- SAP experience preferred.
Working Conditions
- This position has a regular full time schedule with a normal work week of Monday through Friday. There may be a need for occasional work after hours or weekends.
