Role Definition : A robotic programmer for welding specializes in developing and maintaining the software that controls robotic welding systems. Here are the key responsibilities and skills for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Programming Welding Robots : Writing and optimizing code for robotic welding operations.
- System Integration : Ensuring the welding robot’s software integrates seamlessly with hardware components like sensors and welding tools.
- Path Planning : Developing algorithms for precise welding paths and movements.
- Quality Control : Implementing software to monitor and ensure weld quality.
- Testing and Troubleshooting : Conducting tests and diagnosing issues to ensure reliable operation.
- Maintenance and Updates : Regularly updating software to improve efficiency and add new capabilities.
- Collaboration : Working with mechanical engineers, welding specialists, and other team members to refine robotic welding systems

Degree Requirement: University degree preferably in Engineering or related field.
Basic Qualifications:
- The ability to effectively develop and manage project plans from concept to production.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively with team members and process partners.
- Experience in Manufacturing Process
- Conversational English
- Understanding of welding processes, including arc welding, MIG/MAG, TIG, among others.
- Knowledge of quality and safety standards in welding.
Additional Details:
- This position will be located in Monterrey, MX
- Work from Monday to Saturday
- Availability to travel inside and outside the country (10%)
- Availability for shift rotation is required
