Assist audit leadership team to coordinate staffing and audit plan requirements including scheduling, budget preparation, risk assessment, and other audit related duties as needed.
Directly supervise a team of audit professionals performing testing of technology controls (including but not limited to SOX General IT Controls (GITC), SOX Application Controls, etc.)
Review the work (planning documents, test plans, workpapers, audit reports) of senior auditors to ensure quality is maintained and departmental methodologies are followed.
Ensure thorough and independent audits focused on evaluation of internal control design and effectiveness, accuracy and completeness of financial records, effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Assist Audit Leadership with communication to Audit Committee of Internal Audit’s assessment of Company’s internal IT control structure.
Develop strong, professional and independent relationships with the senior leaders of nVent.
Collaborate with the company's external audit firm to increase reliance and efficiency across the audit program.
Partner with audit leadership to develop future talent.
Assist with advisory projects for emerging risk areas (System Implementations, M&A Control Integration, etc.)
5+ years of dynamic IT audit experience, including leading internal or external audit engagements; relevant certifications preferred (e.g. CISA, CISSP, CIA, CPA).
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with domestic and international stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of SOX requirements and internal control principles, including IT General Controls, Application Controls, and financial reporting concepts.
Expertise in global frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, COSO).
Broad IT audit experience across ERP systems, databases, operating systems, infrastructure, and project management.
Understanding of risks associated with emerging technologies.
Proven leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple priorities and drive continuous improvement.
High ethical standards and integrity.
Collaborative approach with a dedication to encouraging a positive team culture.
Willingness to travel internationally up to 10%.
