We're looking for a Legal Specialist to join our team in Querétaro, Mexico. This role supports both employment/labor matters and commercial legal work, helping ensure the company remains compliant, organized, and well supported across day-to-day legal operations in Mexico and the U.S.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing employee relations and labor law support with contract review, legal documentation, and internal legal operations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. In this role, you'll partner with teams across the business to support employee-related legal processes, legal compliance, contract management, and key legal workflows that impact both HR and broader business operations.
- Support labor and employment-related matters, including employee contracts, performance management, employee conduct, terminations, and offboarding processes
- Draft, review, and manage legal documents such as commercial agreements, NDAs, labor agreements, independent contractor agreements, and vendor contracts
- Provide legal support to internal teams and help ensure compliance with applicable labor, employment, and corporate regulations in Mexico, while also supporting legal matters tied to U.S. operations
- Manage legal support requests, background check processes, and legal documentation workflows across the company
- Keep legal trackers, reports, and documentation updated, while monitoring relevant legal and labor law changes that may impact the business
- Bachelor's Degree in Law
- Advanced English (written, spoken, and reading comprehension)
- Strong contract drafting, proofreading, and legal document review skills in English
- Solid knowledge of Mexican Federal Labor Law and general commercial contract matters
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally, manage priorities, and handle confidential information with discretion
- At least 1 year of experience supporting labor or employment-related matters
- At least 3 years of experience drafting, reviewing, and working with legal documents and contracts in English
