About the role
Jet Rescue Air Ambulance is hiring four (4) Bilingual Operations Assistants to join our coordination team. This is a fully remote position, but candidates must live in the Guadalajara, Jalisco metropolitan area. You will be at the center of our air ambulance operation — coordinating time-sensitive medical transport missions from start to finish and keeping every moving part on schedule.
This is a fast-paced, detail-driven role in a 24/7 operation. If you are fully bilingual, calm under pressure, excellent listening skills, and thrive on organizing complex logistics, we would like to meet you.
What you will do
- Assist in coordinating air ambulance medical transport missions end-to-end.
- Communicate clearly and professionally — in English and Spanish — with patients, families, hospitals, and insurance representatives.
- Assist in arranging flight logistics: aircraft and crew scheduling, permits, airport slots, FBOs, and fuel.
- Assist in organizing ground transportation (ambulances) at both the origin and the destination.
- Monitor active flights and provide timely status updates to all parties.
- Prepare and maintain accurate trip documentation and records.
- Respond to urgent, time-sensitive requests with accuracy and a sense of urgency.
- Work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays (24/7 operation).
What we are looking for
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish — spoken and written (required).
- Currently living in the Guadalajara, Jalisco area.
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working rotating 24/7 shifts.
- Reliable computer, high-speed internet, cell phone, and a quiet, dedicated home workspace (this is a remote role).
- Strong computer skills.
- Experience in secretarial, administrative, or customer service is a plus — but we are happy to train the right person.
