About the Role
HELI Forklift America is seeking an experienced Forklift Service Technician to join our growing service team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in forklift maintenance and repair, along with excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electric and internal combustion forklifts.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control system issues.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and service activities.
- Complete service reports and document repair work accurately.
- Provide technical support and training to customers when required.
- Travel to customer sites to perform field service and emergency repairs.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards.
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in forklift, material handling equipment, automotive, or heavy equipment repair.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to independently diagnose and repair equipment issues.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Fluent in both Spanish and English (spoken and written).
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers and team members.
Preferred:
- Experience with HELI, Toyota, Hyster, Yale, Crown, Raymond, Jungheinrich, or similar forklift brands.
- Experience with lithium battery-powered forklifts and warehouse equipment.
- Previous field service experience.
- Technical certifications related to industrial equipment maintenance.
Sueldo: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 al mes
