Job Objective
Utilization Improvement Technician is responsible for strengthening the collaboration between the Utilization team, APQP, Product Development, and other cross-functional areas to ensure optimal material utilization throughout the product development and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsabilities
- Strengthen collaboration between the Utilization team, APQP, Product Development, and other cross-functional areas.
- Support preventive and corrective actions to optimize material utilization and manufacturing processes.
- Participate in APQP and new product development activities to ensure efficient material utilization.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction.
- Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain utilization documentation, reports, and performance metrics while ensuring compliance with customer and quality requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or Technical Degree.
- Experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
- Experience with leather, trimming, or upholstery processes is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of APQP and GD&T is preferred
- Basic to intermediate English (reading, writing, and verbal communication).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
