Amphenol Mexicali is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. Under the supervision of the Engineering Manager, he is responsible for coordinating, designing and developing new product introduction plans under customer specifications or sales requirements. Interacts with other Engineering and Sales groups to define, document, analyze, execute, and interpret assembly and test requirements for products, systems, or components.
Responsibilities:
- Develop electrical assembly and testing strategies, and procedures based on customer requirements.

Problem solving in the product using the following methodologies: Ishikawa Diagrams, Cause-Effect Analysis, Control Charts, Histograms, Pareto Charts, Flowcharts, 5 Whys.

Troubleshooting the product and coordinating it with the following areas: Receipt, Receipt Inspection, Warehouse, Production, Shipping, as the problem applies.

Development of PFMEA, APQP, Control Plan, DFM analysis, Test Documents.

Actively participate in continuous improvement activities and maintenance and implementation of certifications.

Preparation of presentations for new and active clients.

Coordinates the design, purchase and arrival of the tools required for the introduction of new products.

Makes assembly drawings and documentation.

Responsible for coordinating the evaluation and implementation of engineering actions in the engineering change process (ECO's)

Carry out improvement and cost reduction projects.

In charge of carrying out and coordinating the process of quotations for new products, from their receipt to the generation of the quotation of tools, in support of the automation, processes and electrical testing groups.

Designs tools and fixtures for the implementation of new products, as well as their purchase.

Provision of returns, generation of RMA reports.
