Summary:
This position utilizes lean manufacturing principles to minimize inventory,maximize throughput, and optimize facility utilization.The position requires broad technical experience in a high-mix, low-volume,fast-growing manufacturing environment.The team includes anelectro-mechanical assembler, optical bonder, inspector, test technicians, and manufacturing engineers.The manufacturing manager will also be supporting the New Product Introduction (NPI) of multiple products in a short time in the market environment.
Qualifications: Skills, education, and experience requirements

BS degree inEngineering

A minimum of5-10 years of relevant experience in metal mechanics Industry

Demonstrated ability to performPFEMA, DOE, SPC, and Six Sigma continuous improvement tools.

Knowledge ofAS9100 quality systems and standards

Good sense ofplanning and project management skills

Ability to improve processes and resolve technical problems

Experience in managing employees, including training and coaching
Competence & attitude requirements:
Effective written/verbal communication skills;

Computing skills (Windows, Microsoft Office)
