RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accountable for End of Line Testing Equipment, Parameters, scripts and Capex associated.
- Work closely with Site Leaders to ensure manufacturing plans are aligned with program schedule.
- Oversight AME team to ensure the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team will:
- Pilot and commissioning advance Manufacturing technologies, processes, equipment, and practices. Capital projects that support Growth, NPDI, Product Transfers, Technical Capacity and Footprint associated.
- Implementation of manufacturing plans for new products.
- Provide direct support for plant-to-plant product transfers.
- Support Vertiv manufacturing operations using standard processes, equipment, and manufacturing methods.
- The execution of Manufacturing Readiness Checklist and deliverables.
- Accountable for Manufacturing Prototype builds.
- Provide support to implement best manufacturing practices for existing processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
BSME/IE/ and 5+ years manufacturing experience or equivalent demonstrated experience.
Preferred
Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma formal training or certifications.
Requirements:
- Solid knowledge and experience on Automation, integration as well as automated equipment and testing equipment.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and motivation skills.
- Experience in New Product Development and Product Transfers.
- Ability to facilitate and lead teams effectively in a transformational work environment.
- Experience managing direct reports and cross functional teams.
Project management and technical skills; analytical skills; PC skills.
