We are looking for a Senior Automation Tester in JS to join an Agile product team supporting customer-facing web applications and APIs. The role combines automation development, functional testing, and collaboration with developers to help ensure high-quality releases.
Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automated tests for web applications and APIs

Enhance and support existing automation frameworks and test utilities

Create automated test coverage for new features and regression scenarios
-
Execute functional and regression testing as part of the release process
-
Investigate test failures and defects, and work closely with developers to identify root causes

Review requirements and contribute to test planning and test case design
-
Support integrations between automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and test management tools
-
Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional team members

Share automation knowledge and best practices within the team
Requirements
-
3+ years of experience in test automation for web applications
-
Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and test automation design patterns
-
Experience with Node.js and modern automation frameworks such as WebDriverIO or Selenium
-
Skills in API testing and automation using Postman or similar tools
-
Understanding of software testing principles, test design, and defect management
-
Experience using Git-based source control systems
-
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution
-
Familiarity with test management tools such as qTest or TestRail
-
Experience with cloud-based test execution platforms such as LambdaTest
-
Experience testing authentication and authorization APIs
-
Experience working in Agile teams

Good communication and collaboration skills

English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have

Experience integrating automation frameworks with test management tools

Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS SQS or similar technologies

Experience testing or automating real-time applications using WebSockets

Skills in Bash scripting

Experience with SAP-based web applications, mobile automation, or AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot
