This role connects operations knowledge with technology implementation, API-based integrations, data workflows and practical process design to improve visibility, decision-making, automation and execution discipline across the cross-border network.
Key Responsibilities
· Track AI and systems implementation initiatives from requirements definition through testing, launch, adoption and continuous improvement.
· Support the development of tools for planning, load assignment, customer service, commercial follow-up, pricing support, operations visibility and exception management.
· Coordinate with internal users, external developers and vendors to clarify workflows, data needs, business rules, API requirements and implementation priorities.
· Administer TMS configuration, user access, operational fields, workflow settings, data quality checks and process compliance routines.
· Document current-state processes and convert operational pain points into structured requirements, test cases and user acceptance criteria.
· Validate AI outputs, system logic, automation workflows, notifications, dashboards and API-driven data feeds before business rollout.
Support training, change management and adoption for operations users, including dispatch, planning, tracking, control tower and commercial teams.
Required Knowledge Base
· Working understanding of transportation operations, cross-border execution, dispatch, planning, customer updates, equipment visibility and shipment milestones.
· Practical knowledge of TMS workflows including load creation, assignment, status updates, accessorials, documents, carrier data and reporting.
· Familiarity with API concepts, system integrations, data mapping, webhooks, data feeds and basic technical requirements documentation.
· Ability to work with AI-enabled tools, prompts, workflow automation, structured data, validation rules and exception-based logic.
· Understanding of ELD and telematics data such as driver hours, location, ETA, tractor status, trailer status and event timestamps.
· Intermediate spreadsheet and dashboard capability, with comfort analyzing data, identifying gaps and summarizing insights for operations leaders.
· Basic project coordination skills including timelines, owners, open items, testing logs, issue tracking and implementation follow-up.
· 2 to 4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, operations analysis, TMS administration, systems support, implementation support or business analysis.
· Strong ability to understand operational workflows and convert them into clear system requirements, test cases and action plans.
· Advanced Excel or Google Sheets capability and comfort working with operational data, reports and dashboards.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work between operations users, leadership, vendors and technical teams.
