The Payroll Tax Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accurate calculation, processing, reporting, and compliance of payroll taxes, social security obligations, and statutory employee benefits. This position supports payroll operations by maintaining accurate employee records, managing tax filings, performing payroll reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The role also serves as a key contact for employee payroll inquiries and external audits.
- Maintain employee records and updates in the SUA (Sistema Único de Autodeterminación).
- Process employee social security registrations, modifications, and terminations with IMSS.
- Perform monthly and annual social security calculations.
- Calculate and process IMSS risk insurance payments.
- Manage annual social security reporting requirements.
- Prepare annual NIF D-3 labor obligations calculations.
- Review and validate payroll tax calculations.
- Prepare and submit monthly ISN (State Payroll Tax) payments.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
- Perform payroll tax account reconciliations.
- Coordinate and provide required documentation for external audits.
- Calculate and process bimonthly INFONAVIT contributions.
- Manage annual INFONAVIT reporting requirements.
- Review and process weekly INFONAVIT credit deductions.
- Administer employee INFONAVIT and FONACOT credits.
- Ensure accurate application of employee loan deductions and related payments.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Payroll, Payroll Tax, Accounting, or related functions.
- Experience with Mexican payroll regulations and statutory compliance.
- Experience managing IMSS, INFONAVIT, FONACOT, and State Payroll Tax obligations.
- Experience supporting audits and payroll reconciliations.

- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in a multinational manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday
- Knowledge of internal controls and SOX compliance requirements.
