Performance Test Engineer
We are seeking a Performance Test Engineer with expertise in open-source performance testing tools, such as JMeter and LoadNinja by SmartBear. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance engineering, ensuring applications meet scalability, reliability, and efficiency standards. This role requires a strategic thinker who can design, execute, and optimize performance testing frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute performance test strategies using JMeter and LoadNinja.
- Conduct load, stress, scalability, and endurance testing for web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and analyze performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to optimize application performance.
- Establish and maintain performance testing environments.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in performance testing.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Extensive experience in performance testing (JMeter, LoadNinja, or similar tools).
- Strong knowledge of performance engineering methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based testing environments.
- Ability to set up performance testing frameworks from scratch.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Bachelor//'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
