Our client is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join its manufacturing leadership team. This is a highly visible, hands-on role that serves as a trusted business partner to site leadership, helping drive employee engagement, organizational development, and a high-performance culture. The ideal candidate is a proactive HR leader with strong manufacturing experience who enjoys partnering with leaders to support business growth and workforce development.
Responsibilities
- Partner with site leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that support business objectives.
- Lead full-cycle recruiting and workforce planning efforts to attract and retain top talent.
- Foster a positive employee experience by promoting engagement, communication, and a strong workplace culture.
- Coach and support leaders on employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
- Develop succession plans and support leadership development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable federal and state employment laws.
- Oversee compensation, recognition, and employee incentive programs.
- Maintain and communicate HR policies and procedures while ensuring consistent application.
- Lead employee relations activities and respond to employee concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Supervise and develop one direct report.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 5+ years of Human Resources leadership experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Bilingual in English / Spanish
- Experience partnering with operations and leadership teams to drive business and people initiatives.
- Prior people management experience.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and related regulations.
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
