We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Med-Legal Historian to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for researching, collecting, and documenting patients' medical histories, playing a key part in the management of our med-legal services. Responsibilities:
- Research and document patients' medical histories.
- Review and summarize medical information.
- Collect medical histories directly from patients.
- Compile and organize medical records for legal and medical purposes.
Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively and to document the information received in the form of medical histories.
- Ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate medical histories from transcribed history calls
- Capable of working under tight deadlines and managing multiple cases.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Professional and courteous demeanor in patient interactions.
- Strong English communication skills (required).
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience in medical or healthcare customer service.
- Educational background in communication, writing, business, or marketing.
- Knowledge of the workers' compensation industry.
- Familiarity with Medical Terminology – Preferred, but not required; training will be provided.

Pay: $17,000.00 - $25,000.00 per month
