Coast Accountant
Cost Accountant
Role Summary
Ensure that financial information related to cost and inventory determination accurately and timely corresponds to the products manufactured by the Company.
Key Responsibilities
- Contributes to the development of the Gestamp San Luis Potosí business plan on a semi-annual basis.
- Prepares reliable reports to enable management to make timely and informed decisions.
- Monitors inventory and scrap levels and prepares corresponding monthly reports.
- Manages the plant budget in collaboration with management and oversees the budget for their specific area.
- Handles data entry and cost determination in SAP.
- Calculates unit costs by part number.
- Analyzes monthly standard vs. actual cost variances.
- Conducts inventory analysis.
- Develops and validates inventory management procedures.
- Supports external and internal audits.
- Assists with financial reporting.
- Reconciles income statement accounts.
- Handles month-end closing.
Work Experience
- Experience in automotive industry.
