We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support our finance and accounting operations. This role combines accounting support, financial administration, reconciliations, invoice management, and reporting to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of daily financial processes. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, documentation, and filing systems.
- Process invoices, receipts, and perform financial data entry with a high degree of accuracy.
- Prepare reports and supporting documentation for internal finance and accounting teams.
- Communicate professionally with vendors and homeowners regarding invoices, payments, balances, and account inquiries.
- Perform general administrative duties in support of the finance department.
Accounting and Financial Operations:
- Process and manage HomeWise reports, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Develop and prepare Collections RFA (Request for Approval) packets for internal review and processing.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations by matching bank transactions with accounting records and investigating discrepancies.
- Manage AVID invoice processing, ensuring invoices are accurately reviewed, tracked, approved, and processed in a timely manner.
- Assist with month-end financial close activities as assigned.
- Monitor financial records for completeness and accuracy while identifying discrepancies for resolution.
- Maintain organized digital records and supporting documentation for audits and internal reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance administration, or a related support role preferred.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
- High attention to detail with excellent accuracy in data entry and financial documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with accounting software, invoice management systems, or document management tools is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be willing to work full-time 40 hours a week following U.S. business hours.
