ADI Global Distribution, is currently looking for an Associate Demand Planner to join their growing Demand Planning team. In this position, you will be responsible for both demand management and inventory planning of specific product lines for the North American market. You will work collaboratively along multiple departments that have a direct impact on the business. Partnering with Product Management, Sales, Customers, Suppliers, Transportation, and Distribution will be a key part of your daily role.
JOB DUTIES:
- Lead weekly buy and inventory management for assigned categories, ensuring alignment to service and inventory targets
- Own Open-to-Buy (OTB) planning and supplier investment strategies to balance availability and working capital
- Drive consensus demand planning by partnering with Product Management, Sales, Finance, and Supply Planning
- Proactively manage supply constraints and risk mitigation, collaborating closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Analyze in-stock, fill rate, and forecast accuracy performance, leading initiatives to close gaps and improve KPIs
- Partner on and influence promotional and lifecycle planning, ensuring readiness for demand shifts and new product introductions
- Lead excess and obsolete inventory reduction strategies through data-driven insights and cross-functional action plans
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and best practices within demand planning workflows
- Act as a subject matter expert and mentor to junior planners, providing guidance and support as needed
Participate in and/or lead cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives that drive business impact

YOU MUST HAVE:
- 5+ years of experience in demand planning, inventory planning, or supply chain analytics
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tool
- Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and translate insights into actionable plans
- Experience working with ERP and planning systems (P21, Slimstock, or similar)
Strong cross-functional collaboration experience with Sales, Product, Supply Chain, and Finance teams
