Position Summary
The Manufacturing Intern will support production and manufacturing operations by assisting in the execution and improvement of processes that drive efficiency, quality, and operational performance. This role provides hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, where the intern will collaborate with engineering and production teams to support process control, performance tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position offers an excellent opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world manufacturing challenges while developing technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong logical thinking skills
- Effective teamwork and communication abilities
- Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts (5S, Kaizen, Standard Work)
- Interest in manufacturing processes and technologies
- Knowledge of PLCs, SQL, or Python is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled from the 6th semester onward
- Active student in Mechatronics, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or Computer/Systems Engineering
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency
- Proactive, well-organized, and eager to learn
Position Overview
The Manufacturing Intern will support key production initiatives by assisting in projects focused on improving process control and reducing defects, including efforts related to NOK tightening reduction. The role involves tracking and monitoring daily and weekly technical performance metrics, supporting data analysis, and ensuring visibility of key operational indicators.
Responsibilities include developing reports, visual aids, and work instructions to support standardized processes and improve operational efficiency. The intern will collaborate with engineering and production teams to document processes, support continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to solutions that enhance quality and productivity on the manufacturing floor.
This role provides valuable exposure to real-world manufacturing operations and the opportunity to actively contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement within a dynamic industrial environment.
