Purpose of the position
· Responsible to support projects and Level 2/3 incident resolution in the Americas (LG, LE) with Network Security
implementation and support in the Americas time zones with focus on Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) and Palo Alto Firewall.
· Operate and manage network security services, virtual and physical network security appliances globally for Office, Cloud and Operations Technology environments as Network Security Export / Security Admin / Firewall Admin.
· Preventing cyber-attacks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards and implementing Linde IT security standard based
Principal responsibilities
· Support projects activities in the Americas time zone with prime focus on US/CA and Latam covering Palo Alto perimeter firewall technology and Zscaler implementations
· Provide day to day global network security operation by using varied technologies used to protect the network infrastructure of Linde (e.g. Zscaler Internet Security ZIA, Zscaler Private Access ZPA, Palo Alto Firewalls NGFW)
· Drive adoption of new technologies like ZIA, ZPA and innovations with Palo Alto or related technologies.
· Regular review of rulesets to harden and improve security of protected systems.
· Ensuring compliance of the current network security environment, ensuring any deviations from policy or standards are reported, addressed, and resolved in a timely fashion.
· Definition and implementation of technical changes, after consulting business departments.
· Operational lifecycle management of security devices.
· Share skills with the whole team, educate and teach them where needed to bring them to the next level

(ii) make a record of the disclosure and its rejection in the meeting minutes,
(iii) not pass on the Competitively Sensitive Information to any other Employee or Executive
· Board or Supervisory Board member of client, (iv) inform the responsible CO
Required key skills (functional/technical)
· Experience in the following products / Technologies or related
a. Palo Alto Firewall – NGFW, PANORAMA, Global Protect
b. Zscaler Internet Access ZIA, Zscaler Private Access ZPA, Zscaler Digital Experience ZDX
c. Cloud based security technology
d. Zero Trust Network Access / Zero Trust Segmentation
· Keen to learn new technologies, concepts and skills

Required qualifications/experience (internal & external candidates)
Qualification
· A degree or equivalent from a reputed institute
· A certificate of education on one of the leading security technologies (see above)
· Formal training and preferably certification in network security technology
Experience
· Should have overall 5+ years of relevant IT network / security experience e.g. as Firewall Admin.
· Technical knowledge in security / Zero Trust / state of the art network security technologies.
· Experience in working in globally distributed teams
