Position Overview
We are seeking a Production Supervisor with strong experience in manufacturing operations to oversee production lines, ensure efficiency, and manage teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production operations on the manufacturing floor
- Plan and schedule production based on orders and delivery timelines
- Monitor production progress and ensure on-time delivery
- Handle urgent orders and unexpected production issues
- Implement and maintain 5S and visual management standards
- Improve production efficiency and reduce waste
- Troubleshoot on-site issues (equipment failures, staffing gaps, quality deviations)
- Lead and manage teams of 20–50+ operators
- Oversee attendance, performance evaluation, and training of staff
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and production traceability
- Optimize production processes and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Analyze production data (output, yield, losses, OEE) using Excel
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing (food processing or mechanical industry preferred)
- Hands-on experience in production lines (not purely administrative roles)
- Experience with team management (20–50+ people)
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, production records, and traceability systems
- Familiarity with production equipment operation and basic maintenance
- Experience in continuous improvement (Lean Manufacturing, cost reduction, efficiency)
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills
Nice to Have (Plus)
- Experience in pet food or food industry
- Background in export manufacturing (USA/Canada markets)
- Experience with customer audits (Costco, FDA, etc.)
- English and/or Chinese proficiency
Job Conditions
- Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 MXN gross monthly (negotiable)
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm
