What You’ll Do
As a Senior Manager, Supply Chain , you will:
- Manages and is accountable for day-to-day tactical raw material purchasing oversight and execution for the Breg manufacturing operations.
- Ensures supply planning tools are maintained, and reviewed for accuracy, and acted upon by the team.
- Designs, implements, and maintains supply chain processes that support business strategies and are flexible to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.
- Monitors inventory performance to target and takes action as needed to ensure continuity of supply.
- Anticipates unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepares control strategies; communicates issues with key internal partners, manages and mitigates risk.
- Defines, tracks, and reports performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as customer service, lead times, delivery to promise, delivery to request, etc.
- Provide strategic leadership, guidance, and supply chain expertise to cross-functional New Product Introduction (NPI) teams
- Establish and monitor key supply chain readiness metrics to ensure successful product launches and seamless transition into production.
- Monitor and manage supply chain risks related to tariffs, commodity costs, regulatory requirements, and supplier certifications.
- Review and approve Purchase Price Variance (PPV) adjustments, expedite fees, and other exceptional supply chain expenditures.
- Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to develop and enhance supply chain metrics, reporting, and performance tracking tools.
- Manage strategic supplier relationships, including sourcing, contract negotiations, pricing, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee supplier Kanban and inventory replenishment programs to ensure continuity of supply and inventory optimization.
- Utilize supplier scorecards to drive performance in quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness.
- Review and evaluate supply agreements to identify opportunities for cost reduction, risk mitigation, and improved service levels.
- Manages and ensures organizational adherence to established Purchasing Policy.
- Responsible for behaving in a professional manner both internally and externally in relationships that positively.

- Responsible for promoting Breg's culture within the organization using established tools such as storytelling, providing focused feedback, and recognition. - Leadership responsibilities include the selection, development, performance management and continuous recalibration of staff; ensures appropriate staffing levels and resource allocation; performs administrative tasks associated with timekeeping, pay, performance, policy administration and other matters related to employment.
- Assesses staff and provides timely and consistent feedback regarding technical proficiency and effectiveness. Provides constructive feedback, guidance, and reinforcement to employees regarding job performance. Works with staff to identify work goals and create individual development plans. Evaluates training programs to ensure content meets staff needs.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or other related field of study
- 10+ years relevant experience including 5+ years of experience as a procurement, planning, or supply chain manager are required.
- Knowledge of strategic sourcing, planning, and procurement techniques
- Knowledge of the complete Supply Chain cycle includes forecasting/supply planning process and how the output of those processes translate to the production planning and procurement plan.
- New Product Introduction experience in a medical device environment is preferred.
- Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
- Interest in market dynamics along with business sense.
- Computer proficient to include web browser/internet search, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Technical competence includes the ability to learn new software and systems.
Compensation
Actual compensation is determined by factors such as experience, skills, and business needs. Actual pay is based on many factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographical location, work experience, skill set, relevant trainings and certifications, and business needs. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus.
