Position Summary
We are seeking an Electromechanical Technician to perform hands-on maintenance activities and ensure production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. This role requires strong technical skills in electrical systems, mechanical components, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and equipment diagnostics.
This position will work closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to minimize downtime, improve equipment performance, and support operational excellence across the plant.
Responsibilities
Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
Diagnose and resolve issues involving electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with established schedules and procedures.
Support equipment uptime by identifying root causes of failures and implementing effective corrective actions.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Maintain, adjust, and repair motors, sensors, controls, drives, relays, switches, conveyors, pumps, and related components.
Follow all Parker and plant-level safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and safe work practices.
Partner with production teams to support daily operations and respond to equipment-related issues in a timely manner.
Document maintenance activities, repairs, parts usage, and equipment conditions accurately.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, efficiency, quality, and safety.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with manufacturing standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve maintenance practices and equipment performance.
Qualifications
Qualifications

Technical degree, certification, or equivalent experience in electromechanical maintenance, industrial maintenance, mechatronics, electrical technology, or a related field.

Experience maintaining and troubleshooting equipment in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Strong working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.

Ability to troubleshoot motors, sensors, controls, wiring, mechanical assemblies, and related production equipment.

Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and maintenance documentation.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.

Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational discipline.

Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to equipment reliability and continuous improvement.
