Custodio & Dubey LLP is a growing law firm based in Downtown Los Angeles committed to delivering exceptional legal services and strong client advocacy. We are seeking an experienced Remote Personal Injury Paralegal with a deep understanding of California personal injury litigation and the ability to support attorneys in a fast-paced practice.
Position Overview
We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive legal professional with at least 1+ years of personal injury experience. The ideal candidate must be well-versed in California court procedures, personal injury litigation documents, discovery, pleadings, and trial preparation.
This is a remote role for someone who can work independently, manage deadlines effectively, and contribute meaningfully to case progress from intake through litigation and resolution.
Required Experience
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in California personal injury law
- Strong working knowledge of California state courts, filing procedures, deadlines, and litigation workflow
- Experience in preparing, reviewing, and managing a wide range of personal injury legal documents
- Recent experience working in a law firm environment as a Paralegal

- Prepare and organize deposition-related documents, including:
- Deposition notices
- Subpoenas
- Deposition summaries
- Exhibit preparation
- Assist with trial and hearing preparation, including:
- Trial binders
- Exhibit lists
- Witness lists
- Chronologies
- Medical records organization
- Court-ready document compilation
- Draft and assemble demand packages and supporting documentation
- Medical records
- Billing records
- Accident reports
- Photographs
- Insurance correspondence
- Client documents
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, experts, defense counsel, courts, and vendors as needed.
- Calendar deadlines, hearings, depositions, and litigation events
- Maintain accurate digital case files and support attorneys with case management
- Ensure all work is completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with California court rules and procedures
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Strong knowledge of the California Code of Civil Procedure, court filing deadlines, and litigation procedures
- Familiarity with California courts, including e-filing platforms and county-specific filing practices
- Ability to prepare, proofread, and finalize high-volume litigation documents with minimal supervision
- Strong understanding of personal injury case flow from pre-litigation through trial
- Excellent attention to detail and deadline management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and legal case management software
- Experience with legal calendaring and document management
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- FileVine experience
- Experience with trial preparation and high-volume plaintiff personal injury files is strongly preferred
What We’re Looking For
The right candidate is not entry-level and not general litigation only. We are specifically seeking someone with substantial personal injury experience who understands the documents, deadlines, and workflow involved in California plaintiff-side PI matters. This person should be able to step into the role with confidence and provide meaningful litigation support from day one.

Pay: $7.00 - $10.00 per hour (USD)
