Leads and manages the day-to-day activities of maintenance supervisors and maintenance teams to ensure that production equipment, machinery, and facilities operate safely, reliably, and efficiently. Provides overall direction and oversight to ensure facilities, buildings, and plants remain in good working order and support operational objectives.
Leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of preventive and predictive maintenance programs for equipment and facilities. Ensures work performed by maintenance teams meets quality, safety, and regulatory standards by reviewing and auditing completed work. Oversees the availability, condition, and proper use of maintenance equipment, materials, parts, and tools across teams. Acts as the primary escalation point for complex equipment, facility, or personnel issues, providing guidance and decision-making support. Directly manages and develops maintenance supervisors and team leads through coaching, mentoring, performance management, and succession planning. Establishes clear expectations, promotes accountability, and fosters a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Prioritizes and allocates labor and resources across multiple work streams to ensure schedules, service levels, and production targets are met. Leads training initiatives to ensure teams are aligned with organizational procedures, standards, and best practices.
Partners with internal stakeholders and coordinates with outside contractors and vendors to manage service contracts, major repairs, and capital projects. Reviews costs, monitors budgets, and performs analysis to control expenses while maintaining operational reliability. Supports implementation of maintenance best practices and drives process improvements.
Requisitos:
Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 7–10 years of related maintenance experience, including demonstrated leadership responsibility.
Proven ability to lead and manage maintenance supervisors and cross-functional teams. Requires strong interpersonal skills, tact, and sound judgment. Solid mechanical and electrical knowledge sufficient to guide and evaluate technical work. Effective in using MS Excel, Word, and
internet-based systems. Able to read and interpret vendor manuals, drawings, and technical documentation. Communicates clearly and effectively at all organizational levels. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, perform cost analysis, and make data-driven decisions. Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and competing demands.
