11. Analyze and resolve problems that arise on the production line and/or customer complaints using problem-solving and prevention tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, 4 Blockers, FMEA, PSW, A3, Kaizen events, SPC, and QRQC (PPS, LPS, SPS) to reduce COPQ.
12. Monitor and ensure process compliance based on established specifications through process audits to guarantee that they are carried out according to applicable standards and specifications.
13. To ensure customer satisfaction and monitor customer perception, the quality engineer must be the point of contact with the customer, attend customer audits, monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions, evaluate customer rejections, follow up on RMA requests, and lead quality meetings with the customer.
14. Execute and review First Article Inspections (FAI) according to the AS9102 standard.
15. Perform other duties inherent to the position according to the company's needs. Purpose: To meet the organization's established goals.
16. Comply with safety, hygiene, and environmental programs and policies, with a preventive and educational approach that allows for the prevention of accidents and occupational illnesses, improves working conditions, and reduces environmental impacts.
