Position Summary
The Senior Analyst, Narrative Intelligence is responsible for executing and improving research systems that support narrative and campaign strategy initiatives. This role combines survey programming, research operations, data analysis, dashboard management, insight generation, and process optimization. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of independently managing complex research workflows from survey setup through reporting and client deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Program, test, launch, and monitor surveys using platforms such as Alchemer, Qualtrics, or similar tools
- Configure survey logic, quotas, samples, audience segments, and fielding specifications
- Conduct pre-launch, live-fielding, and post-launch quality assurance checks
- Troubleshoot survey, sample, and technical issues with internal teams, vendors, and partners
- Maintain organized documentation of survey instruments, datasets, fielding details, and deliverables
- Manage key components of the data-to-dashboard workflow including data formatting, validation, and uploads
- Clean, code, structure, and validate research datasets for analysis readiness
- Conduct statistical and descriptive analyses to identify insights and trends
- Create reports, dashboards, charts, summary tables, and analytical outputs
- Identify patterns across audience segments, demographics, narratives, formats, and performance outcomes
- Improve and automate recurring data quality, cleaning, and analysis processes
- Translate research findings into actionable insights for internal teams and stakeholders
- Prepare topline reports, data summaries, presentations, and client-facing deliverables
- Review and quality-check reports, presentations, and research materials for accuracy and consistency
- Develop user guides, documentation, and supporting materials for research processes
- Conduct secondary research to support and contextualize primary research findings
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and research partners to ensure timely project execution
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reporting processes, and operational efficiency
- Build and maintain knowledge bases, prompts, workflows, and documentation for AI-powered research systems
- Collaborate closely with strategy and research teams to ensure outputs align with business objectives
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of experience in survey programming, research operations, data operations, data analysis, or applied research support
- Experience programming surveys using Alchemer, Qualtrics, or similar survey platforms
- Strong understanding of survey logic, quotas, sampling methodologies, fielding specifications, and quality control processes
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
- Experience cleaning, validating, and analyzing large datasets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience creating reports, dashboards, and data visualizations
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams independently
- Strong written communication, editing, and formatting skills
- Experience producing client-facing materials and presentations
- Comfort using AI tools to improve efficiency, automate workflows, and support research operations
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with data visualization platforms such as Power BI or Looker Studio
- Experience building automated reporting workflows
- Knowledge of audience research, campaign analysis, or narrative strategy methodologies
