The Production Planner is responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining production schedules to ensure customer demand is met while optimizing inventory levels, capacity, and manufacturing resources. This role works closely with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Engineering, and Logistics to support on-time delivery and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or manufacturing planning.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Experience using ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- APICS/ASCM CPIM certification is a plus.
- Experience with demand planning and inventory management.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Experience working with MRP systems.
