English/Spanish Law Firm Intake Team Lead
Labor Law PC | Intake Department | Remote
About Labor Law PC
Labor Law PC is a California plaintiff-side employment law firm representing employees against workplace discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations. We are a fully remote, distributed team, and we operate as a boutique firm by design: clear communication, real connection with the people we represent, and a team that treats clients as people, not case numbers.
Position Summary
Labor Law PC is hiring a full-time, remote, professionally bilingual (Spanish and English) Intake Team Lead working directly with our Head of Intake. This is a formal team leadership role over three groups within Intake, Client Engagement Specialists, Intake Analysts, and a Referral Specialist, with a team of approximately 8-10 direct reports. This person is accountable, under the Head of Intake, for the quality, compliance, and performance of the pipeline these teams run, and for the people running it: setting direction, coaching individuals toward growth, and holding the line on standards day to day.
The Intake Team Lead monitors case flow for compliance with time sensitive deadlines, delivers structured coaching using a defined coaching model, and serves as the first point of contact when intake systems or processes break down.
What You Will Do
Quality and Compliance Monitoring
- Audit calls and systems regularly to ensure the intake team is meeting established quality and performance standards
- Review intake pipelines daily for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to required timelines
- Conduct QA checks on intake files, communications, and case documentation, flagging errors or gaps before they become compliance issues
- Track and report on time compliance metrics, particularly for high priority and time sensitive matters
- Participate in building and rolling out the firm's QA rubric, currently in development
Team Leadership and Coaching
- Serve as team leader, providing day to day direction and accountability
- Run a regular one on one coaching cadence with each team member using a defined coaching model.
- Build and track individual development plans, following up on prior coaching commitments
- Lead the team through rollout and adoption of new processes and procedural changes
- Participate in hiring decisions as leadership and experience grow, in close collaboration with the Head of Intake
Performance and Process Improvement
- Use QA rubric data and audit findings to identify trends, set improvement targets, and measure progress over time
- Recommend and help implement changes to workflows, scripts, or training that raise conversion rates and lead quality
Communication and Technology
- Communicate directly with potential clients when needed, in both English and Spanish
- Own and manage the shared Intake team inbox
- Serve as first point of contact for the Intake team when technology, workflows, or CRM processes, are not working as expected
- Provide translation or interpretation, Spanish and English
What We Are Looking For

- Strong attention to detail, with demonstrated ability to audit workflows for accuracy and compliance
- 2+ years of relevant experience, for example team lead, quality or QA, coaching, or intake or client services
- Demonstrated people leadership experience, not just process leadership, including direct accountability for team members' performance, conduct, and development
- Coaching experience, including the ability to structure and deliver a coaching session using a defined coaching model and follow through on development plans
- Experience leading or working within a distributed, remote team spanning multiple countries and time zones is a plus
- Tech agile: comfortable learning and troubleshooting CRM and intake technology, for example GoHighLevel, Airtable
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and AI tools
- Prior experience in a law firm intake, legal services, customer service, or client facing quality role preferred
- Available to work Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Pacific Time
