Education:
Ø Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Ø Professional accounting certification or registration considered an advantage
Ø Degrees in Finance or Business Administration will only be considered when accompanied by significant full-cycle Account Payable accounting experience
Ø Professional Business English (written and verbal) required
Experience (Required)
Ø Minimum 5 years progressive Accounts Payable accounting experience
Ø Experience supporting U.S. legal entities preferred
Ø Manufacturing accounting experience strongly preferred
Ø Experience in a multinational company preferred
Ø SAP FI/Accounts Payable experience
Experience performing:
Ø Supplier reconciliations
Ø Three-way matching
Ø Invoice verification
Ø Month-end close
Ø Strong understanding of accounting and tax implications of AP transactions
Ø Ability to independently analyze and resolve accounting issues
Ø Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and month-end deadlines
Additional Skills
Ø Professional business communication in English required
Ø Ability to communicate directly with U.S. accounting and finance personnel
Ø Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ø High attention to detail
Ø Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Ø Demonstrated sense of ownership and accountability
