About Green Attic
Green Attic is a growing Chicagoland construction and home-services company specializing in insulation, roofing, solar, remodeling, and property restoration. We manage multiple crews, subcontractors, vendors, customers, inspections, permits, materials, and active projects across several brands.
We are hiring a highly organized Construction Project Coordinator who can keep a large volume of projects moving without constant supervision.
This Is a High-Volume Coordination Role
This position is not for someone who has only managed one or two projects at a time.
We need someone who has successfully coordinated 10, 20, or even 30 active projects simultaneously. You must be comfortable handling changing schedules, customer updates, crew assignments, material deliveries, permits, inspections, subcontractors, and urgent production issues throughout the day.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate 10–30 active construction and home-service projects at the same time
- Track project schedules, deadlines, inspections, permits, materials, and outstanding items
- Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, vendors, customers, and internal departments
- Confirm that crews, materials, equipment, and project information are ready before each job
- Identify delays or missing information before they become emergencies
- Provide clear project updates to customers and management
- Follow up aggressively until tasks are completed and documented
- Create and update tasks, notes, checklists, and project records
- Escalate safety, scheduling, customer, or production issues quickly
- Improve coordination processes and help build better SOPs
Required Experience
- Construction, logistics, operations, dispatching, or project coordination experience
- Proven experience managing a high volume of active projects or work orders
- Experience coordinating crews, subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, or field operations
- Strong scheduling, follow-up, and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities change
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Reliable computer, internet connection, and quiet remote workspace
Preferred Experience
- Roofing, insulation, remodeling, restoration, HVAC, solar, or general construction experience
- Experience with ClickUp, Jobber, HubSpot, Google Workspace, or similar systems
- Experience coordinating permits, inspections, material orders, and production schedules
- Experience supporting multiple companies, departments, or service divisions
What Success Looks Like
- Projects are prepared before crews arrive
- Customers receive updates without having to chase us
- Missing materials, permits, and scheduling conflicts are caught early
- Every task has an owner, deadline, and documented outcome
- Problems are escalated with possible solutions, not dumped on management
- Projects move forward without constant reminders or hand-holding
Do Not Apply If
- You have only managed one or two projects at a time
- You need constant instructions to determine your next step
- You regularly lose track of follow-ups or deadlines
- You are uncomfortable communicating with crews, customers, and vendors
- You wait for problems to become urgent before taking action
