Description of Jr Buyer Position:
- Support the procurement of raw materials, equipment, consumables, and services according to purchasing procedures. Assist in maintaining and following up on open purchase orders. Coordinate with Purchasing/Production/Planning to ensure material availability. Support communication and follow-up with suppliers regarding deliveries, confirmations, and documentation. Collaborate with Quality and Planning teams regarding material specifications and requirements. Assist in preparing basic reports such as OTD, order status, and inventory reports. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to lead time reduction and inventory optimization. Assist with material transfers between plants when required. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Experience & Requirements:
Experience:
- Experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Inventory - 1-2 years Basic knowledge of purchasing and supply chain processes. Basic experience or familiarity with MRP / ERP systems (preferred). Basic to intermediate English skills (reading and writing; conversational skills are a plus).
Education:
- Bachelors - Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, International Business, or related field (completed or in progress).
Skills:
- Time Management Basic analytical and data-follow-up skills.
