About the role:
Responsible for managing the daily funding process to ensure loan files move efficiently and accurately from approval to funding. This role reviews documentation for completeness and compliance, prepares and submits funding packages, and communicates with lenders to resolve outstanding conditions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple files simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage daily funding processes for USF, MWF and Genway files to ensure timely and efficient turn times.
- Review loan files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance prior to purchase.
- Ensure all documentation meets lender and company requirements.
- Prepare, organize, and verify all required funding documents and conditions.
- Compile and submit complete funding packages, ensuring documentation is accurate and properly organized.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding documentation deficiencies or outstanding conditions.
- Send Purchase Advice (PAs) to lenders once received and update loan management system accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve file deficiencies in a timely manner.
- Assist lenders with any questions related to their loans, company’s guidelines, processes, and/or regulatory requirements.
- Confirm signed closing packages are uploaded to the loan management system.
- Monitor loan progress, proactively following up on outstanding items to prevent purchase delays.
- Assist with department projects as assigned.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in mortgage operations, post-closing, processing or closing preferred.
- Working knowledge of Encompass preferred.
- Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize work when the needs of the business change.
- Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication with numerous individuals wherein courtesy, customer service, cooperation, and tact are essential.
- Consistent and reliable attendance is required.
- Efficiently work under strict timeframes
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail, has a desire to learn and grow and the ability to multi-task with high productivity and minimal errors.
- Excellent communication skills. Will build and maintain strong working relationships with warehouse banks and lenders.
- Proficiency working in MS Office.
What We Offer:
- $22,000 - $24,000 base salary monthly
- Project base contract (6 months)
