The Manager, Fiscal & Payments Deployment Solutions, Digital + Technology Transformation, Caribbean & Latin America (CALA), Global Technology, is a key member of the CALA deployment organization supporting the successful rollout of Opera Cloud across the region. This position serves as a regional subject matter expert for payments, fiscal compliance, reporting, and localization requirements impacting Marriott properties during deployment.
This role is not responsible for technical installation. Rather, the position is responsible for driving solution readiness, identifying and resolving deployment blockers, coordinating vendors and internal stakeholders, and ensuring that country-specific requirements are addressed in alignment with Marriott standards and deployment timelines.
Operating in a complex multi-country environment, this role is critical to helping ensure that each deployment is compliant, operationally viable, and aligned with Marriott standards. Given the regional landscape, there is a strong emphasis on fiscal compliance, including tax mandates, electronic invoicing, statutory reporting, and other legal requirements. This role also supports the regional solution framework for payments, including OPI and tokenization, and helps ensure that global standards are appropriately adapted to local market requirements.
This position works closely with hotel leadership, internal Marriott teams, and fiscal and payment partners across the region. Success in this role requires strong judgment, organizational discipline, comfort operating in ambiguous environments, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across countries, vendors, and deployment timelines.
