We are looking for a Solution Architect to act as the technical authority across a portfolio of digital products on a shared TypeScript/Node.js stack and AWS. You will guide architecture governance, security remediation, and resilience hardening while aligning engineering and stakeholders on technical direction. Responsibilities

Assess and document current architecture across the product portfolio, highlighting risks and improvement opportunities

Validate architecture decisions from delivery pods to ensure consistency with shared standards
-
Own and drive the security remediation backlog across services and platforms
-
Lead resilience hardening by defining and validating reliability patterns and operational safeguards
-
Drive cloud account separation and restrict non-production environment access
-
Provide technical oversight for infrastructure-as-code practices and consolidation across pods
-
Guide platform initiatives such as pipeline security scanning and operational metrics foundations
-
Advise on event streaming reliability patterns for Kafka-based consumer services
-
Run architecture walkthroughs during onboarding and act as the primary technical escalation point

Communicate architecture trade-offs clearly to engineers and stakeholders
-
Contribute to engineering standards, ADRs, and runbook documentation

Mentor pod leads on architecture decision-making and technical risk assessment

Apply AI coding assistants for architecture spikes and security pattern implementation while reviewing outputs for fit and safety
Requirements

3+ years of solution architecture experience across distributed systems

Strong stakeholder leadership skills to align engineering and non-technical partners on trade-offs

Proven project ownership experience driving cross-team initiatives and technical governance

Strong cloud architecture skills with Amazon Web Services

Strong content platform skills with Content Management Systems
-
Strong security engineering skills covering authentication, authorization, secrets, and vulnerability remediation
-
Strong resilience engineering skills using retries, circuit breakers, DLQs, and dependency health checks
-
Strong infrastructure-as-code skills to review and guide portfolio-wide standards
-
Strong event-driven architecture skills for streaming and consumer reliability patterns
-
Strong written communication skills for ADRs, standards, and runbooks
-
Ability to use AI coding assistants for spike work and evaluate generated code for correctness and security

Advanced proficiency in English (B2+/C1)

Hands-on experience with Terraform for multi-account cloud setups

Experience with AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, and Secrets Manager

Experience designing systems that include AI/ML components or LLM-based workflows

Experience with observability tooling such as Datadog
