Your Team Responsibilities:
This position is open to candidates located in Mexico City or Monterrey, Mexico.
The Private Asset Indexes & Taxonomies team is responsible for developing and bringing to market indexes built on private capital data across private equity, private credit, infrastructure, and real estate. The team leads go-to-market strategy, product development, and classification standards for MSCI's private asset index suite, working cross-functionally with Coverage, Research, Product, and Engineering to deliver benchmarking solutions for institutional investors globally.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Client Meeting Support and Follow-Up

Prepare presentation materials for client meetings including slide decks, index summaries, and supporting exhibits
-
Manage post-meeting follow-up: coordinate sample file requests, distribute methodology documents, and ensure timely support to coverage teams
-
Maintain organized repositories of standard client-facing materials (methodology docs, FAQs, factsheets) to enable fast turnaround
Custom Index Pipeline Coordination

Serve as central coordinator for custom index opportunities, liaising across Coverage, Research, Product, and Engineering

Lead initial scoping discussions with Coverage / Research to support requirements, assess feasibility, establish timelines, and clarify deliverables

Maintain clear project tracking across multiple concurrent initiatives, ensuring ownership and accountability at each stage

Proactively identify and escalate blockers to the Head of Private Asset Indexes & Taxonomies
Internal Operations & Process Improvement

Build and maintain project management infrastructure (trackers, intake templates, status dashboards) to improve team execution efficiency

Support preparation of internal materials, stakeholder updates, and team communications

Identify recurring workflow gaps and propose process improvements to scale the team's capacity
Your skills and experience that will help you excel:
Required
-
2–4 years in project coordination, operations, client support, or a related role — ideally in financial services, fintech, or data/analytics
-
Exceptional organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with competing deadlines

Demonstrated client-facing or client service experience required, with strong relationship management and communication skills
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
-
Strong written and English communication skills. Comfortable drafting professional client-facing documents and coordinating across senior stakeholders

Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Sharepoint)

High attention to detail and a proactive, ownership-oriented work style
Preferred

Exposure to private markets, investment data, or index/benchmark concepts

Experience in a cross-functional coordination role spanning product, research, and commercial teams

Familiarity with private asset data platforms or institutional investment workflows
