We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer (JavaScript) to strengthen automated testing for web products, emphasizing browser automation and identity/auth flows. You will grow Cypress and Playwright coverage, run accessibility and performance checks, and keep TestRail assets tidy while partnering with the pod and QA leadership to align strategy. Responsibilities

Maintain and expand Cypress browser automation suites across multiple products

Add Playwright test coverage for new features and areas not yet covered by automation

Design and execute test scenarios for authentication flows, token handling, session management, and identity edge cases

Perform regression, integration, and exploratory testing throughout sprint cycles

Run accessibility checks with axe-core and report findings against WCAG 2.1 AA

Execute Lighthouse CI performance checks and raise regressions to the pod lead

Create, update, and keep test cases organized in TestRail
-
Triage and document defects with clear steps, expected results, and environment details

Collaborate with the Business Analyst to ensure acceptance criteria are testable before sprint planning

Align pod-level QA practices with cross-portfolio test strategy in partnership with the QA Manager

Use AI tools to generate test cases and test data from acceptance criteria or user stories

Apply AI-assisted approaches to defect triage by suggesting root causes or identifying related failing tests
Requirements

Hands-on Cypress automation experience (2+ years)

Practical Playwright testing experience (2+ years)

Demonstrated ownership for automation quality across products (2+ years)

Solid experience executing test strategy across regression, integration, and exploratory testing (2+ years)

Proficiency building JavaScript-based browser automation suites (2+ years)
-
Strong defect reporting skills with clear reproduction steps and environment context

English proficiency at B2 Upper-Intermediate
Nice to have

Experience with axe-core accessibility testing aligned to WCAG 2.1 AA

Familiarity with Lighthouse CI performance testing

Exposure to GitLab CI for automated test execution

TestRail administration or advanced test management capability
