Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced ABB Robot & PLC Integration Engineer to join our team in Monterrey for a 6-month project. You will play a critical role in developing, simulating, and commissioning automation systems specifically focused on Body in White (BIW) automotive manufacturing lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute robotic simulation and offline programming (OLP) for automotive body shop applications using Siemens Process Simulate.
- Program and configure industrial robots with a primary focus on ABB controllers, alongside support for KUKA, Kawasaki, and Fanuc controllers.
- Integrate industrial robots seamlessly with PLCs and SCADA systems to ensure efficient automated manufacturing cells.
- Design and validate manufacturing fixtures and tooling within the simulation environment.
- Perform on-site troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization of robot code and PLC logic during commissioning.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in automotive manufacturing automation, specifically within Body in White (BIW) processes.
- Proven expertise in Siemens Process Simulate for robotic simulation and offline programming.
- Deep technical proficiency in ABB robot programming, hardware setup, and PLC integration.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and multi-vendor robot controllers (ABB, KUKA, Fanuc, Kawasaki).
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Available to work onsite in Monterrey, Nuevo León.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $27,000.00 - $37,000.00 per month
