This role oversees finished goods packaging, supplier coordination, and documentation management. It drives packaging development, cost-effective improvements, and compliance with HSE standards. The position ensures product protection, collaborates with internal teams and suppliers, and manages business cases to balance cost and customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for all finished goods packaging. Responsible for supplier management, changes, and communication with all applicable engineering and procurement functions.
- Responsible for all document changes as well as trouble shooting existing designs.
- Adherence on HSE Procedures and support initiatives.
- Implement packaging proposal that are integral in product development process.
- Review and improve existing packaging methods to ensure cost effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
- Create and implement SOR (statement of requirements) of packaging process/methods to ensure product arrives at end customer free of damage.
- Collaborate with internal resources and packaging suppliers to accomplish packaging goals
- Manage businesses cases on packaging related changes to provide leadership positive/negative costs impacts covering entire process from start to finish.
Compiles, stores and retrieves packaging and production data.

Requirements
- Bachelor Degree Mechanical Engineer, or related
- +3 years’ experience in similar role
- Bilingual (Spanish-English)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill
- Knowledge of CAD software tool.
- Knowledge of design and packaging basics
- Experience creating specifications
- Experience working with customers
- Experience in driving consensus between groups
- Ability to work in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
