We are seeking a Senior Database Engineer to own the reliability, performance and security of mission-critical databases across multi-cloud environments.
Responsibilities

Install, configure and upgrade MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and CockroachDB databases

Monitor, tune and optimize database performance

Manage backups, recovery and disaster recovery plans

Implement and maintain database security and user access
-
Set up replication, clustering and high-availability solutions
-
Automate routine DBA tasks through scripting and tools
-
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues
-
Document configurations and procedures
-
Collaborate with DevOps and development teams
Requirements
-
3+ years of experience in advanced database administration across MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB
-
Expertise in CockroachDB administration combined with proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell and Python for automation
-
Skills in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI combined with IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible
-
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools including Prometheus, Grafana and ELK
-
Knowledge of cloud database services such as AWS RDS and GCP
-
Background in database security, replication and high availability
-
English proficiency at B2 level or higher
