Job Title
Responsible for leading and ensuring the execution of the completions, commissioning, and start ‑ up process within brewery environments, guaranteeing a safe, orderly, and efficient transition from construction to full-scale brewing and production operations.
Principal Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate all completions, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities across brewery facilities.
Ensure systems and equipment are delivered from construction to operations following a structured handover and systemization approach.
Oversee the execution of Mechanical Completion, punch list management, and functional testing.
Coordinate commissioning activities for brewing process systems, including brewhouse, fermentation, filtration, and packaging lines.
Manage and validate commissioning of critical utilities, such as refrigeration systems, steam, compressed air, CO ₂ , and water treatment.
Supervise CIP systems and sanitary requirements, ensuring compliance with food and beverage standards.
Collaborate with automation teams to execute loop checks, control system testing (PLC/SCADA), and process integration.
Support and lead start-up and ramp-up activities, ensuring production targets and quality standards are achieved.
Ensure compliance with HSE standards, including LOTO, PSSR, and risk assessments during commissioning activities.
Interface with construction, QA/QC, operations, and contractors to ensure alignment and readiness for start-up.
What you will bring
R equirements:
University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or equivalent trade qualification combined with further relevant training and experience. Experience varies based on education background. Those with degree typically have 10+ years relevant experience. Those with trade qualifications will typically have 12+ years relevant experience.
Advanced understanding of systems, processes and tools related to field. Able to assist others and troubleshoot issues. May be involved in the development of new systems, processes and tools
Recognized as a technical expert and thought leader within construction, providing consultation to engineering and construction site management in their area of expertise.
