Company: Everest Peak Home Health Care
Job Type: Full-time
About Us
Everest Peak Home Health Care is a fully-licensed, growing U.S.-based home health agency dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients in their homes. We provide a comprehensive range of services, including skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, medical social work, and home health aide support. We are looking for a rare talent who can bridge the gap between clinical excellence and business development—someone who can ensure our documentation is flawless while also helping us grow our patient census.
Position Overview
This is a dual-purpose role designed for a Registered Nurse who is equally passionate about clinical accuracy and strategic growth. You will wear two hats:
- As an OASIS/Coding Specialist – You will audit clinical documentation, ensure OASIS compliance, and assign accurate ICD-10 codes to optimize reimbursement and quality outcomes.
- As a Marketing Liaison – You will develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new patients, build relationships with referring physicians, and strengthen our agency's presence in the community.
If you have a clinical eye for detail and a business mindset for growth, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a direct impact on both patient care quality and agency revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Coding (OASIS Focus):
- Review and audit home health clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with CMS guidelines
- Analyze OASIS assessments (OASIS-C2, OASIS-E, OASIS-E1) to ensure correct coding, appropriate reimbursement, and proper reflection of patient functional status
- Assign accurate ICD-10 diagnosis codes based on clinical documentation from field clinicians
- Ensure documentation supports the Home Health Resource Group (HHRG) and PDGM billing model
- Provide clear, actionable feedback to field clinicians when documentation revisions are required
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines, OASIS updates (including April 1, 2026 changes), and evolving coding standards
Marketing & Business Development:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new patients and increase referral volume from physicians, hospitals, and community partners
- Identify and build relationships with potential referral sources (physicians, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, hospitals)
- Manage the agency's digital presence, including social media, online directories, and website content
- Create marketing collateral (brochures, email campaigns, patient education materials) that highlights our services and differentiators
- Track and analyze referral source performance to identify growth opportunities
- Serve as the primary liaison between the agency and the community to promote brand awareness
- Gather patient and referral source feedback to improve service offerings and marketing approaches
Qualifications
Required:
- Active, unrestricted Mexican Registered Nurse (RN) license (cédula profesional)
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Home Health OASIS review and coding within a U.S. home health agency setting
- Proven expertise in OASIS (OASIS-C2, OASIS-E, or OASIS-E1) and ICD-10 coding
- Demonstrated experience in marketing, business development, or physician liaison work within healthcare (home health experience is a strong plus)
- Strong working knowledge of CMS home health regulations, PDGM, and HHRG calculations
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills – must be able to create compelling marketing content and speak professionally with U.S.-based referral partners
- Self-directed, highly organized, and comfortable in a fully remote work environment
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, CRM tools, and digital marketing platforms
Preferred (not required):
- Active medical coding certification such as CPC, COC, CRC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, or HCS-D
- US RN license
- Experience with home health EMR platforms such as WellSky (Kinnser) or similar
- Background in Quality Assurance (QA)
- OASIS certification
- Experience with social media management, email marketing, or graphic design tools (Canva, Mailchimp, etc.)
What We Offer
- Competitive salary (commensurate with experience – discussed during interview)
- Fully remote – work from anywhere in Mexico
- A truly hybrid and strategic role that allows you to use both your clinical and business skills
- Opportunity to directly influence agency growth and quality outcomes
- Supportive team environment with professional growth opportunities

Please submit your resume via Indeed. In your application, please briefly describe your OASIS/coding experience as well as your marketing or business development background. Qualified candidates will be contacted for an initial interview where salary and benefits will be discussed.
