DESCRIPTION
Positions: Utility Cleaner | Dishwasher
We are recruiting entry-level galley staff for cruise lines and maritime operations, responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards in kitchen and food production areas.
These roles are essential to ensure safe and efficient galley operations in a high-demand, fast-paced environment.

Clean and sanitize all galley areas, including floors, walls, and equipment

Maintain cleanliness of workstations and food preparation areas

Handle waste disposal following hygiene and environmental standards

Support kitchen team with basic cleaning and operational tasks
-
Ensure compliance with USPH sanitation standards at all times
-
Operate dishwashing machines and clean all kitchen equipment, utensils, and cookware
-
Ensure proper handling and storage of clean items
-
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing areas
-
Support kitchen operations during peak service periods

Follow all hygiene and sanitation procedures

Cruise ships and maritime operations

REQUIREMENTS

No prior cruise experience required

Minimum 3–6 months experience in:

Cleaning
-
Kitchen support
-
Stewarding / dishwashing
-
Restaurants, hotels, or industrial kitchens

Entry-level candidates with strong work attitude may be considered

Basic understanding of cleaning and hygiene practices
-
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environments
-
Physical stamina (lifting, standing for long hours, repetitive tasks)

Teamwork and ability to follow instructions
-
Attention to cleanliness and organization
-
English: Basic (A2–B1 preferred)

CV in English (Harvard format), updated with no gaps

Minimum 2 verifiable reference letters

Valid passport

Availability to work:
